Manage Mobile Devices Using LastPass

You can also revoke or reinstate access to mobile devices that have already accessed your LastPass account, and even rename the mobile device label (UUID) or delete the device from your list.
Manage access restriction for new mobile devices
You can enable or disable the requirement of LastPass sending a verification email containing a secure link that you must click on in order to allow you to access your account from a mobile device.
- Log in to LastPass and access your Vault by doing either of the following:
- Go to https://lastpass.com/?ac=1 and log in with your username and Master Password.
- In your web browser toolbar, click the LastPass icon then click Open My Vault.
- Click Account Settings in the left navigation.
- Click the Mobile Devices tab.
- Choose one of the following:
If you want to restrict access only to those devices you verified, click Enable . Please note that if a Disable button is displayed, it means that access is already restricted.
If you do not want to restrict access to verified mobile devices, click Disable . Please note that if an Enable button is displayed, it means that access is already unrestricted.
Manage authorization of mobile devices
To remove authorization of a mobile device so that it will no longer use your LastPass account (in case you ever lose that device), or to re-authorize a mobile device that was previously de-authorized, do the following:
- Log in to LastPass and access your Vault by doing either of the following:
- Go to https://lastpass.com/?ac=1 and log in with your username and Master Password.
- In your web browser toolbar, click the LastPass icon then click Open My Vault.
- Click Account Settings in the left navigation.
Click the Mobile Devices tab, then locate your desired mobile device. Under Access, use the drop-down menu to select Allowed (to authorize or re-authorize) or Denied (to de-authorize) the device.
- On the next prompt, you can click Yes to immediately be logged off from all active sessions, or click No to remain logged in to all active sessions but prevent future logins until all sessions have ended.
Delete a mobile device
- Log in to LastPass and access your Vault by doing either of the following:
- Go to https://lastpass.com/?ac=1 and log in with your username and Master Password.
- In your web browser toolbar, click the LastPass icon then click Open My Vault.
- Click Account Settings in the left navigation.
- Click the Mobile Devices tab, then locate your desired mobile device. Under Action, click the Delete icon .
- When prompted, click OK.
- Once deleted, you can exit the Account Settings window.
Rename a mobile device's label/random identifier

When you log into LastPass using a mobile device, that device is listed in your Mobile Devices list within your Account Settings. For security purposes, your mobile device's label/random identifier (i.e., UUID) is displayed as a string of randomly generated letters in numbers in UUID format. In doing so, LastPass has no record of a mobile device's actual UUID anywhere within our systems. If desired, you can rename the UUID for better recognition by doing the following:
- Log in to LastPass and access your Vault by doing either of the following:
- Go to https://lastpass.com/?ac=1 and log in with your username and Master Password.
- In your web browser toolbar, click the LastPass icon then click Open My Vault.
- Click Account Settings in the left navigation.
- Click the Mobile Devices tab, then locate your desired mobile device. Under Action, click the Edit icon .
- Make your desired changes within the field under Label/Random Identifier, then click the Save icon .
Once saved, you can exit the Account Settings window.

Recover Your Lost Master Password for LastPass
If your Master Password for LastPass is ever lost or forgotten, there are several account recovery methods to use to restore access to your Vault. Please be aware that LastPass Customer Care has no knowledge of a user's Master Password. It is not possible for LastPass Customer Care to reset or change a user's Master Password if it is forgotten.

You can revert to your previous Master Passwordonly if the change had taken place within the last 30 days. Follow these instructions to reset your Master Password by reverting to your previous Master Password.

Follow these instructions to reset your Master Password using a Recovery One Time Password on any web browser where you have logged in to the LastPass web browser extension at least once.
If you still cannot recover your Master Password using any of the options above...
Unfortunately, the very last and only option available is to Reset Your Account and start over with collecting data (e.g., sites, secure notes, form fill items, creating identities, etc.). This will permanently delete all of your stored encrypted data within your LastPass account, but your account status and some settings will remain untouched.
